Founded in 2011 by Daryl Hall and Jeff Smith, MissionWorx is a small independent film company with the goal of making films that honor God and change lives. Among the films produced by MissionWorx is the award winning films FAT BOYS and THE LION..

MissionWorx has begun pre-production on two projects; "The Journey to Nairobi" and “Freer”. Both projects are targeted for January 2020 release. Two key projects that are currently scheduled for filming in 2020 are ”Running with Jack and “Saving Isabella”.

MissionWorx has benefited from a small army of dedicated followers of Christ with talent and skills that have made up our MissionWorx family of filmmakers. To all these volunteers we say thank you!

In 2017, MissionWorx moved it’s headquarters to Medina County, Texas and is currently led by Daryl and his wife Laura Elvia Hall. Daryl is also Pastor of First Baptist Church in Freer, Texas. Laura is an architect in a prestigious firm in San Antonio.Daryl has garnered seven awards for writing screenplays and two for directing. In addition to producing their own films, Daryl is writing screenplays for other producers.

Daryl attended East Tennessee State University and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He is currently serving on the Board of Directors of Jesus Centered Ministries and as an advisor with Brick by Brick Ministries International. Laura attended University of Texas in San Antonio and Colombia University in New York. She serves on the Board of Directors of The ACE Mentor Program in San Antonio and is a published photographer.
