Auditions

On January 11, 2020 MissionWorx Films will hold auditions for our newest independent film - our first to be filmed in Texas. The Journey to Nairobi is a Christian based film about mentoring teens. The script is rich with great characters and opportunities for a variety of actors. Though this is an audition and interview process for both cast and crew for the feature film “The Journey to Nairobi”, we will also be considering actors and crew for future projects including a feature (that will be part of an annual series to raise support for Baptist Disaster Relief Efforts in Texas) called “Freer”, a series of commercials for the “Embrace the Help; Be the Help” national mentoring campaign and a reality/documentary called “Living Under the Southern Star”. All begin production before March 2020. Most of the auditions will center  around parts for “The Journey to Nairobi” but will allow casting personal to become acquainted with area talent. The Journey to Nairobi will be shot mostly in the cities of San Antonio, Freer and Devine, Texas. These are all Christian based projects and The Journey to Nairobi is about mentoring teenagers.
